Adopt A Nest Site

How can you help some of the world’s most endangered bird species? By adopting a nest site at Muraviovka Park in Far Eastern Russia (established in 1994). This Park is a unique ecosystem that is home to numerous rare and endangered species. In the spring and fall, Muraviovka’s wetlands become temporary resting place for thousands of birds migrating to and from other parts of the world.

Two species of endangered cranes nest in Muraviovka Park. By adopting a nest site you will help to protect critical habitats for Red-crowned Cranes, White-naped Cranes, and Oriental White Storks as well as for other plants and animals that depend on this wetland habitat.

Your $50 adoption fee includes

  • a one year membership in Friends of Muraviovka Park
  • a certificate of adoption
  • a set of postcards from the park
  • a book on cranes
